ジオード

人形の頭部に、水晶のジオードを組み込んだオブジェ作品です。

ジオードとは、岩石の内部にできた空洞に、長い時間をかけて結晶が育ったもの。
外側からは見えない場所で、静かに、少しずつ結晶が生まれていきます。

この作品では、人形の頭の中が晶洞になっています。
言葉にならなかった想いや、過ぎ去ってしまった記憶が、内側で静かに積もり、やがて結晶化していく。
そんなイメージから制作しました。

瞳にはほんのりピンク色を帯びた自家製のグラスアイを使用しています。
淡い視線と、頭部に宿る水晶の透明な輝きが重なり、生命と鉱物のあわいにある存在として仕上げました。

ガラスドームに収めることで、小さな標本のように、
あるいは、誰かの内側から採取された記憶の結晶のように、
静かに眺めていただける作品です。
